I give this 1 star for writing and three for plot. Sexy times were steamy which was the only reason I kept readingWriting: This was very poorly written and didn't seem to be edited by a professional. It was rife with combinations that drive me absolutely crazy when I'm reading, like"Followed behind", "Lifted up", "dropped my forehead down"A good editor or even a few quality beta readers should get these basics out of the way. Apart from that this author would greatly benefit from some writing classes on description (a girl with dark hair and blue eyes +describing her clothes is the lowest possible level of description.) endless lists of pointless actions.Read some good literature to see how it's done). Same goes for the repetitive sentence structure (does x before doing y/ does x as doing y). It was just so clunky.Plot got three stars.Decent character creation and mediocre conflict. Pretty good sexy times.Rendon was annoying and rude. He treated Nash poorly even after several times being together. Their communication was abysmal and the love came out of nowhere. I never truly bought Nash's attraction to Rendon. I kept picturing a Chiuwawa and a German Shepard together. It didn't click physically - these are two guys, and they didn't seem to be completing emotionally either.
